- 2lbs Premium Burger Blend, Meatball Mix, or Ground Beef
- 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup shallot, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- Sauces for serving: Schug, Marinara or your favorite sauce
Make the meatballs
Preheat oven to 450F.
Combine meat, herbs, shallots and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Form into meatballs that are about 1.5-2″ in diameter. Do your best to make sure the meatballs are the same size so that they cook evenly. A kitchen scale can be useful for this.
Bake Meatballs
Arrange meatballs, 2″ apart, on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes, or until center is lightly pink and juices run clear. Don’t overbake or meatballs will be dry.
Prepare sauces & serve
While meatballs are baking, warm up your sauces. Remove meatballs from the oven, transfer to serving platter or individual plates. Spoon sauce on top, or pass dishes of the sauce at the table.
