• 4-5 sheets matzah
  • 6 ounces Grow & Behold Beef Bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Fleur de sel for topping

Prepare the matzah layer
Preheat oven to 350℉. Place the matzah on a nonstick tray.

Cook the bacon
Add the chopped beef bacon to a frying pan on medium heat. Cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.

Make the caramel layer
Remove the bacon from the pan and add the brown sugar.

Allow the sugar to dissolve (it doesn’t need to dissolve completely), stirring often, for about 3 minutes. Be careful not the let the sugar burn.

Immediately pour the brown sugar mixture on top of the matzah and spread evenly.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Add the chocolate layer
Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top, allow 5 minutes for them to melt, then spread evenly.

Add the bacon & other toppings
Sprinkle the bacon on top and a few pinches of fleur de sel (if you’re feelin’ fancy!).

To serve
Chill for 30 minutes or until chocolate it set. Store in the fridge to keep the chocolate from melting.
